Study finds 87% of Marine privates could be replaced with Roombas
Can a Roomba beat a final boss or drink 7 Four Lokos in 14 minutes?

Honestly? This is overkill.
QUANTICO, VA — A groundbreaking study conducted by Marine Corps Systems Command has revealed that 87% of Marine privates could potentially be replaced by Roombas, the popular robotic vacuum cleaners.
“We started noticing that the tasks often assigned to our privates—sweeping barracks, cutting the grass, shining floors, that sort of thing—were not exactly… complex,” said Lt. Col. Frank Sanders, head of the research team. “So we thought, ‘Why not see if a Roomba can do it?’ And, well, the results speak for themselves.”
In controlled trials, the Roombas demonstrated remarkable proficiency in maintaining clean floors, showing tireless dedication to the task. Privates, on the other hand, were found to require regular motivation, sustenance, “free time”, bathroom breaks, and ridiculous requirements such as sleep, leading to less efficient cleaning cycles.
“It was quite the revelation,” admitted Pvt. Joey “Crumbs” Thompson. “Seeing those Roombas just go at it without a single complaint about liberty or chow made me reconsider my life choices. Like, are we all just Roombas? Trapped in this big ‘ole machine that is the military?”
