Kim Jong Un Returns to Russia on Fanciful Dirigible

"He just giggled and watched Johnny Depp movies on repeat the whole way there."

Wonka or Lil’ Kim? “A little nonsense, now and then, is relished by the wisest men.”

PYONGYANG – Using his wondrous, fanciful dirigible, North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sailed across the clouds to Russia last week to further discuss weapons sales and the power of whimsy with Vladimir Putin. Wearing a stunted top hat and delightfully complex goggles adorned with gears, the reclusive leader was clearly euphoric while standing at the antique ship’s wheel used to pilot the fabulous vessel.

“I bring daydreams, reveries, and weapons designed to murder Ukrainians.” proclaimed Kim as his air vessel Kuhan Haddae, roughly translated from Korean as “The Scrotum of the Skies”, docked at Vladivostok Aerodrome. “Especially the weapons.”

For years, Kim’s traditional mode of travel has been in his cyberpunk-style armored train. However, Kim surprised Western intelligence analysts in 2018 when the Supreme Leader first arrived in his sepia-colored steampunk blimp to meet then-president Donald Trump. The move signaled not only a seismic shift in diplomacy but also in the imagination of the Supreme Leader who reportedly thought the train and associated all-black dystopian costumes made him look “weird.”
