DoD unaware Chief Warrant Officers Guild has been on strike since 1987
But their hats and keys were on the desk!

“We wouldn’t do it that way, Lieutenant.”
The Department of Defense has once again failed to meet the demands of the Chief Warrant Officers Guild after claiming it was “completely unaware” that the organization has been on strike since 1987.
“Their hats were here in the office. We just assumed they went out for a smoke break or something,” said Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. “I honestly have no idea what their demands are, or even what chief warrant officers are supposed to do.”
Chief warrant officers throughout DoD initially went on strike to protest the Pentagon’s new requirements to show up to work, salute commissioned officers, and not finish every pot of coffee in the building without refilling it.
