STOCKHOLM, Sweden — In a groundbreaking announcement, the Nobel Committee awarded its prestigious prize in Medicine to U.S. Navy Corpsman Petty Officer 2nd Class Jack “Doc” Kevorkian for his revolutionary cocktail of Tylenol and Motrin, a blend that has reportedly cured everything from sprained ankles to existential dread among service members.

Kevorkian, stationed at Camp Pendleton, humbly accepted the award, stating, “I just mixed what we had in the storage room. I had no idea it would become such a game-changer.”

The Nobel Committee praised Kevorkian's “innovative approach and substantial impact on military medicine.” A spokesperson added, “His mix has not only alleviated physical pain but also provided a true boost to morale among troops. For years people have been making jokes about militaries across the world and their obsession with Motrin. It turns out the joke is on them.”

The groundbreaking solution, colloquially known as “MOTylenol”, is now being fast-tracked toward widespread use throughout all deployed units, most base exchanges, and some off-installation bars and gentlemen’s clubs. Military doctors are baffled but impressed.

“We've seen MOTylenol revive Marines from the brink of man-flu and cure hangovers faster than a PT run,” said Navy Vice Admiral Charlie Leonard. “It's nothing short of a miracle. We’re now ceasing all epidurals and other pain relievers during childbirth. Though I will admit some women have tried to push back against the decision.”

Critics argue that MOTylenol’s effectiveness may be overestimated. However, countless service members attest to its miraculous healing properties by posting their experiences to the fact-based app TikTok. “I thought I was a goner after that 12-mile ruck,” confessed Marine Sgt. Jack Ripper. “But a dose of MOTylenol, and I was ready for another round with the boys.”

The blend's popularity has even inspired a new military directive, “Operation Over-the-Counter”, aimed at researching other potential pharmaceutical combinations and ways to prevent lower-enlisted from attending sick call.

In a seemingly reactive move, Russia has unveiled its own military medical concoction, “Vodkavodkalin”. Simply a mix of different types of vodka, Russian military officials have touted Vodkavodkalin as a cure-all remedy, emphasizing its dual role as both a morale booster and a fuel for their vehicles. “Vodkavodkalin embodies the spirit and resilience of the Russian soldier,” proclaimed a high-ranking official in the Russian Ministry of Propaganda. “It's not just a medicine; it's a testament to our enduring strength and tradition.” The international medical community has responded with skepticism and concern.

Meanwhile, in U.S. Army medical circles, a rigorous debate is unfolding over the potential of MOTylenol. “If MOTylenol can alleviate symptoms ranging from mild discomfort to missing limbs, its potential in surgical applications cannot be ignored,” stated an anonymous source from the Army Medical Department.

The Nobel Committee was especially excited to place Kevorkian on the list of previous Nobel Prize recipients, such as the esteemed Henry Kissinger for many humane decisions throughout his career, Frank Kellogg for ending all war in 1928, Kofi Annan for tackling corruption, Aung San Suu Kyi for her positive treatment of the Rohingya, and Yasser Arafat for definitely being a good person.
